Day 4 Scout & Guide Camp, Students participated with Enthusiasm and Zeal in the camp. The purpose of the program is to prepare children physically intellectually, socially, and morally as responsible citizens of the country. Students were divided into 5 Teams, the young and dynamic team leaders Naina (Suraj), Nishi (Dazy), Parul (Butterfly), Geeta (Rose), Abhinay (Tiger) with their team motivated all the students with their instructions. Various activities which they learned during the camp & they were part of were like, Cultural Activities, Games, Pyramid Making and learning about different types of Knots, hiking, meditation, community prayers, campfire, Tent Makeup, Cooking and, First aid – caring for an injured person till they receive professional medical care, etc. Moral values were also imbibed in students through stories. Feedback from the students about the camp was followed by the vote of thanks presented by the Principal Sir Dr. Chhater Singh. The end of one event is the new beginning for others. On this note, the young scouts concluded a memorable and knowledgeable Scouts & Guide camp.
A 5 day Scout and Guide Camp was organized today in the Dron College of Education Campus. Trainers from Scout Organizer Hindustan Scout & Guide Uttar Pradesh Mr. Manmohan Kumar trained 76 students with the help of Mr. Tilak Ram Tyagi & Mrs. Lalita Teachers of Education Department. Students enthusiastically participated in the camp. They were trained in Medical, Aid techniques to be used in the case of emergency, and Social Awareness programs with proper discipline.
