Today Dron College of Education Pharmacy Department Staff with their students distribute masks and help in COVID-19 awareness in Meerut. They visited houses around their institute and attempted to help locals adapt to the current challenges faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff & students spoke to the locals about their worries and educated them about the importance of wearing masks when they step out of the homes, proper washing of hands, social distancing and Checked oxygen levels from the oximeter and temperature from the thermal detector and then distributed the masks and Ayush decoction. People were made aware to protect against the Covid-19 epidemic. This awareness campaign was done in village Bhuni. Julhaira, and Chhabria, in which Mr. Suresh Tyagi of village Bhuni, Mr. Vikash Tyagi of village Jhulera, and the head of village Chhabria, Mr. Amarjit Singh Sidhu, gave their full support. To make this campaign a success, the college Managing Director, Mr. Sanjay Tyagi Sir, has departed  a team of teachers and students of Pharmacy Department for Covid-19 Epidemic public awareness campaign, in which the Principal of the college, Dr. Chhatar Singh, Head of Department Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Ankit Kumar, Sushma Rathi, Vibha Kumari, Sonu Kumar, and students- Ishika, Megha, Shubham, Sunny, participated other measures. The residents appreciated the efforts and were very pleased with the bold gesture that the Institutions made during these challenging times.
